Curriculum Vitae Dr.ir. Cor J. Peters is associate professor at the Department of Chemical Technology of the Delft University of Technology. He received his Ph.D.. from the Delft University of Technology in 1986 on a thesis entitled "Phase behaviour of Binary Mixtures of Ethane + n-Eicosane and Statistical Mechanical Treatment of Fluid Phases". His Ph.D.. supervisor was prof.dr. R.N. Lichtenthaler. For the period 2002-2006 he is appointed as a visiting professor at the Center of Excellence of Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan. He is member of the editorial board of the Journal of Supercritical Fluids, member of the scientific evaluation committee for supercritical fluid technology of the German Science Foundation (DFG), member of the evaluation committee for process technology of the Academy of Finland, member of the Area 1a committee of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. Chairman of the 3rd NATO Advanced Study Institute on Supercritical Fluids, to be held in 2005.
